5 Versions Of Deep Love
Deep Love...
a genuine feeling ?
so clearly perceived at times by the one who owns it for a while,
or a true human illusion,
the eternal cosmic wish in you
the eternal cosmic wish in you
for which you would travel to the depth of the ocean to find it
if you only could.....
if you only could.....

LOVE IS GONNA FIND YOU
Love is gonna find you. !
Today I am showing you some of my berry installation prints.
In the front of my workshop stand these large trees that I call THE ELDERS.
They are over fifty years old, have massive stems and produce a really enormous amount of red berries.
The berries in return make an enormous amount of mess.
When they gather together in corners
or explode on the stairs
They literally explode when they are overripe, splattering their juice all around, when they hit the floor from 10 meter height. And the trees produce berries through most of the year. I have been told a hundred times to cut them off but their branches are like a great natural chapel and give us shade throughout the summer.
And they allowed me to create some nice installations which I had of lot of fun doing.
Like this one called : A STUDY OF BERRIES.
I have truly studied them in all stages of evolution.

PORTRAIT OF CHRIS
I am always prepared to shoot a portrait story. This time my brother Chris was the victim.
contemplating
everybody has a certain resemblance with someone. Time tells.
still a lot of Rock 'n Roll
and signs of now and then
together with a friend
old stories are newly told
right to the end

SPOTLIGHT ON A WHITE CORAL
A while ago I found a huge white coral piece on the beach.
One that would usually be exposed in a museum. It graces now my sideboard.
This picture was made using a technique called TTV - whereby a picture is taken with a digital camera through the viewfinder of an old film camera.

BEACH STONES
Most of my work is nature related. I have a great passion for nature, aboriginal art and anything that comes from the earth. In my child-hood I was strongly influenced by my uncle who was a professor in chemistry. He introduced me at an early age already to a microscope and taught me to look closer at things.
I am fascinated by the composition and structure of antique natural history specimen photos or prints and many of my prints reflect this attraction.
This print is called " there is someone hidden inside ". The title originates from a poem of Rumi and I specifically love the subtle shades of blue and grey.
Both prints are available at: Chocolat Negro Photography

I WAS GOING TO WRITE YOU A LETTER
MANY YEARS AGO I was going to write you a letter because there was something on my mind.
I was going to write you a letter to tell you that hearts can change.
I was going to beg you in that letter not to cry now.
I had thought a long time about that letter.
And I was going to write you a letter to tell you that I did not love you anymore
but I wanted to add that I knew you would be fine.
And I intended to say that if you wanted I would still be your friend.
When I hit the first letter my typewriter broke.
And that is how I came to never write you the letter.
AND NOW THAT WE ARE BOTH OLD AND TOGETHER FOREVER you can now know about that letter that I never wrote.
