My old Indian has bought me a beautiful underwater camera and I have been experimenting ever since I came back to Africa. " The Tyrannus Rex Kingdom Series "has been created. These underwater-installations I have shot in the rock pools around East London.

When the wind does not blow and the sun shines the rock pools look like illuminated artificially. The sun reflects back on the sand from the water. These shots are taken on the ground with a slight angle upwards. The water surface looks like a mirror above you.

With the right light and at low tide the rock pools on the East London coast line look like this.

Looking at this world so beautiful and different

just creates one desire in me

to go deeper.
