For Sale - Second Hand Impressions From Gonubie

Man has a strong desire for structure. Structure offers some sort of security to many men and women. But man has also created and there is not enough room for all the creations of mankind. There is not enough storage for the creations of centuries. The memory is full. And the point comes when structure has to break apart

When this point is reached and the door opens, then life and its memories come on sale. It is irrelevant whose memories.

New patterns are created

and in the overall chaos new alliances are formed,
unlikely alliances sometimes

One side may be illuminated and the other rests in the shade.

There is no way back,
Things that have been of oh such a great value

loose their value all together

 and become tramps

with that loss their right of existence is challenged
but that is just the cycle of life

and the eternal law

that after a period of extended structure a wave of chaos has to come

 that will change things drastically
without great sentiment

It can be a painful experience

The great masters say:;" The only way not to feel pain is not to get to attached to something or someone. To overcome the ego, that has collected, loved egoistically and horded things and people for many years."

But that is difficult for man in his earthy form

A Hell Of A Life

Oh yeah, he had a hell of a life
swam all the way from the deep blue sea
got caught with a hook
that hurt
and was set free in a rock pool
only as deep as a knee

he thought he could hide under the rocks
and wait for the soon to come tide
but the young fisherman thought otherwise
and the fish understood, he was free only
 until dinner time would arrive
So he really died twice

But oh yeah, he had a hell of a life !

A Poem For Me

When  you stand in front of their grave,
then think of me

When you read their old and familiar names
that I have called and spoken so many times
now chisseled in the green-blue stone,
then think of me

The pain and suffering given as a heavenly gift to me,
because of my love for them
is buried right there, in the ground with them

So, that is the reason why,
when once again on a Sunday afternoon,
you stand in front of their grave
Do also think of me
and say my name

The Cleaners

Ants are making a common effort to carry a maggot up my pink wall, which they have found under the trash bin.

Transparency

True transparency comes often with death like the leaves of this dying flower that lived only 2 days.

IN THE FOREST

The forest is your rescue remedy. If you are tired go there.

They breathe for us. And they clean the air for us.

They can heal you. But you have to go there often.
Big trees exhale god's breath.

They are like you.
The way they bend and curve is the way life made them to. Just like you.

There is really no difference between you and them.
Only that they are stronger.
And live longer to see more.

Two Queens And An Old Lion From Africa

Bird of paradise flower or Crane flower or STRELITZIA REGINA
I just call them queens of Africa.

The Strelitzia is a striking flower, somewhat bird-like in shape consisting of long green bracts with purple edges that surround orange flowers with bright-blue tongues.
They are evergreen and indigenous with tight clusters of fleshy stems bearing long, oblong, grey - green leaves.
They are Queens.

Broken Open.....
..

And the old lion in the bush.
Queens that can turn into old lions.
A life cycle.

Three Sisters

There were three sisters, all roses and of a beauty that let other flowers look pale. The pink one although the oldest was the shyest of the three. Her pink was subtle and pastel but shining like a light in the fresh green.

She grew up with the same delicacy that was her nature, enfolding slowly and without drama. Just a good young rose.

She was so beautiful that she caused strange emotions in some humans who saw her growing.

She created the desire to wipe away any insect that would want to sit on her virgin pink leaves and to punish that ant, that dirty trespasser seriously.

Even when she was beyond that age about which you should not speak with roses and women.... her beauty was still blinding and unbearable.

She died quietly and only then you could see that there were two cousins behind her who had gone unnoticed their whole life.

The end was a strong contrast to her life.

Her younger sister-rose was bold and bright and had chosen a naughty and indecent red. Nobody of her ancestors had ever displayed such a shameless red.

She did not care and threw herself in this world.

Opening quick and living quick. But we have not even seen her pass away so much did she outlive herself. One day she was just gone.

But we remember the youngest one for her stubbornness. She was determined to show the resilience and the strength of a young rose bud. And she would not sway. Or move or look for another way. It was her will to grow straight up into heaven. Heaven the one thing that can not be conquered.

But she out- did the others with her death. What she could not attain in life she reached in death - extravagance. And while living her last days, when the pressure of fighting against the wall was gone and her leaves were free, she was constantly humming the Stones song " DEAD FLOWERS" under my window. I will never forget her. She was a tough little rose.
